Book club meets today in the Library from 2-3 p.m. This months book is "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger

Roots and Shoots meets today afterschool in Ms Houdeks room 207. All members should attend and will plan the Earth Extravaganza.

Students should pick up their Sno-daze pictures in room 221 today from after school.

Congratulations to Jonathan Schellenberg, Danie Monahan, Jennifer Wei, Ian Hedberg, Jonathan Ryss, Zachary Kagan, and Kyle Geppert, for participating in the 2008 United States National Chemistry Olympiad. Jonathan Schellenberg took first place, and Danie Monahan was ranked number three, advancing to the next round of the competition.

Math team and students interested in taking the Purple Comet an Online Group International Math Competition should come to Mr.Paulson's room 565 after school today.

There will be a Water Polo informational meeting after school today in the conference room in the office.

All returning girls basketball players meet tomorrow after school in room 275.
*******
There will be a banquet for boys basketball players on Thursday. Players should see Coach Howell for more info.

The tennis team's first match of the season was a success. They defeated Harding with a score of 4 to 3. At 3:15 today, the boys pit their skills against Tartan at Tartan.

Yesterday in the Central Gym the Central Badminton team improved their conference record to 2 and 0 by defeating the Como Park Cougars 6 to 1. All four Singles players won including an epic battle by Senior Capitain Yer Chang. The girls next match is on Thursday agaisnt the Harding Knights.

Today at 4:00 the Girls Softball team takes on Minihaha Academy at The Dunning Softball fields.
