Yesterday was the final dress rehearsal for the Fall Play Grease. The set is built, lines are memorized and the band is ready. Grease is a love story with dancing and singing at Rydale High school. Here are CMN reporters Yadi and Pauline with the sneak peek.

Grease opens tonight at 7:00! If you can't make it tonight, it is also showing at 7 on Saturday and 2:00 on Suday. Tickets are 5 dollars for students and 8 dollars for adults. Hope to see you there Central!

Fresh Force is now looking for performances and talent for their "Feed The Need" banquet. Proceeds raised at this event will go towards a charitable cause. Those interested in performing please sign up outside of the office. Be sure to include your contact information.

Deadline for seniors applying to the University of Minnesota is December 15. See your counselor if you plan to apply.

10th grade AVID students going to Concordia meets in the cafeteria at 10:00. Remember to wear warm and comfortable clothes and bring something to write with.

Senior baby pictures have to be turned in by December 12th to be featured in the yearbook. Turn them in outside room 420.

Students participating in Ramp-Up to Readiness, the "College Conversation" is tomorrow from 9 until 11 AM in the Central CRC. Any questions contact Ms. Karp, room 384.

Students interested in being a citizen lobbyist at the Capitol, should come after school next Tuesday to room 207. On Wednesday Dec. 10th, students will meet at the Capitol at 12:30 to put their skills to use to lobby for Global Warming Solutions. NHS hours are available.

The Central girls basketball team takes on Christ's Household of faith in a non-conference game tonight at 7pm. The game will take place in Central's newly remodeled gym.

The Saint Paul Blades hockey team lost a tough match yesterday to Blake, at Blake high school. The girls played hard but suffered a 9-0 defeat. The girls gear up to take on Tartan tomorrow at Highland arena, at 7:30pm.

The Central wrestling team will be kicking off their season this weekend by participating in the Eastview High school tournament at Eastview beginning at 9 am

Student council is hosting a sock drive for local shelters. They are asking each advisory to bring in new packaged socks, the goal is 10 pair for each advisory. Socks should be brought in the week of December 8th to December 12th.

Seniors nominate students for yearbook polls in advisory today. Seniors can nominate two boys and two girls for each category. Liaisons officers turn in nominations to room 420 by the end of advisory

(IS) Mock Trial team attends their first scrimmage against Lakeville South tomorrow from 8am until 2pm. To prepare for the scrimmage Mock Trial meets today in Room 406 from 2:15 to 4:00.

Advisories, the door decorating contest will be on the 15th and 16th. The them is Peace for the Holiday so get creative. Winners will be announced on the 17th followed by a victory breakfast. Advisories should sign up in room 321 by 2:00pm

Habitat for Humanity meets on Monday after school in room 224, to discuss Building and fundraising. Anyone interested in becoming a new member may come.
