"Ramadan Kareem" - The fasting period of Ramadan continues this month. The Jewish High Holy Days also continue until Yom Kippur on Saturday.

The U of MN Twin Cities will be here today at 10:30 in the CRC, and Bemidji State will be here on Thursday, September 20 at 8:30 in the CRC. For a current list of college visits see Ms. Krejce in room 367.

Campaigning for Senior Class Council begins today. 43 seniors are running for the 10 spots on Senior Class Council.

Tomorrow, all sophomores will meet in the gym for a sophomore class meeting. 10th graders should wear school colors, red and black to take the class picture. The Junior class meeting will be next Wednesday, September 29th.

The ACT registration deadline is September 21st. The ACT test will be October 27th. Registration cost is $44.50 for the full test or $30.00 for the non writing portion. See your guidance counselor for more information.

Mock Trial begins tomorrow after school in room 406. If you are interested in argueing, public speaking, and the law, stop in Room 406.

Youth Against War and Racism meets this thursday in room 404 at 2:15. This is the first infomational meeting of the year. Anyone interested in the war in Iraq, military recruiters here at central, and other issues should come to this meeting. Snacks will be provided.

Habitat for Humanity meets this Thursday in room 404 at 2:15. Anyone can come and find out what its all about.
