Today is Thursday, April 10th
And Welcome to the Central Morning News.

The Minnesota Comprehensive Assesment test better known as the MCA's start next Tuesday. All 9th 10th and 11th graders must take this test. 9th graders will be taking the writing test, 10th graders the reading test, and 11th graders will be taking their math test, while the seniors have a late start. The tests are mandatory for graduation and perfect attendance will be rewarded. So Central students get out there and show what you know.

Practice for the Purple Comet online international math competition has been schedueled for Monday. Participating students should come to Mr. Paulson's room 565, right after school.
*******
Today after school, there will be an end of the season Science olympaid party in Mr. Karlen's room.
*******
There will be no prom comittee meeting today.
*******

Today's meeting for Chinese Club after school has been cancelled.

All 10th or 11th graders interested in the St.Paul College Career Pathways Program there is an informational meet tomorrow at 10 A.M. in the CRC.

There are conferences tonight from 530- 830, fresh force will be selling eggrolls.

Yesterday, the boys tennis team smashed Tartan with a score of 6 to 1. All three of Central's doubles teams were victorious. The team is now 2 and 0 for the season.

The badminton team faces off against Harding today at 3:15 in the Harding gym.
*******
After yesterday's scrimmage, the girl's softball team is ready to play their first game of the season today against Harding at the Harding field.

Girls' basketball players meet today after school in room 275.
*******
And now, here are Sarah and Courtney from Central Touring Theater to talk about shoes for Africa.
