Seniors, the deadline for the Class of 63 scholarship is April 10th. 10 scholarships of $5,000 will be awarded, any questions or concerns contact Mary Krejce in the CRC.

(INFO SCREEN) Next week students will elect 5 new members for the 2009-2010 Central M-Team to replace 5 graduating seniors. Voting will take place during all three lunches. Candidates are campaigning all this week, here is a list of those students.

Ordway Honors concert band and orchestra members rehearsal will be held Thursday, April 9th.

Student produced independent film festival, or "SPIFF", is to be held May 15th. Interested students should begin making videos to be included in the festival

The senior class meets this Thursday in the auditorium during 2nd hour to discuss the boat dance, graduation, caps and gowns, senior sweatshirts, senior week, and other senior business.

Book Club meets wednesday after school at 2:00 in the Media Center. Students will be selecting their own mystery book for discussion

Please donate broken used, new, and or working cell phones into the main office as part of an environmental science project.There will be a raffle drawing in 4 weeks for a free gift card all you have to do is print you first and last name and advisor then turn in with cell phone.This will also help Central be eco friendly.

Today is opening day for the Central girls Minutemaid softball team. Last year the girls finished third in their conference with an 11 and 8 record. New captains Senior Samantha Cooper, Junior Maia Wahlberg and Sophomore Natalie Mironov look to lead the team to compete against last years undefeated conference champions, the Como Park Cougars. Today the Minutemaids take on the Arlington Phoenix, who have been winless since 2006. The game takes place at the Rice and Arlington turf field at 4:00.

IS)(Bulletin)Russian State Olympics
(IS)On March 21st Central students competed in the Russian State Olympics. The following students won medals in the Beginning level= Cameron Gemlo and Tatiana Rosario won bronze medals, Iris Smith and Phoebe Ward won Gold medals.
In the Russian 2 level Grayson Sears won a bronze medal Isaak Kaplan and Jackson Joyce-Lynch won silver medals. Margaret Eby and Jessica Dudman won Gold Medals.
In the Russian 3 level Micheal Van Voorhis won a bronze medal, Rebecca Engdahl won a gold medal.
In the Heritage level Lucia Arseni won a Gold medal.
In the Russian 4 level Harrison Berg, Sam Perry and Ben Pearce won silver medals. Harrison Berg was selected for the Grand Prize trip to Russia. Harrison will represent the State of Minnesota in Russia along with the 15 best Russian speakers from the US.
