The following college reps will be this week in the Career Resource Center room 367: Tuesday, September 24: Gustavus Adolphus at 10:00. Wednesday,
Sept 26: Northwestern College at 10:00. Thursday, Sept 27: University of Wisc. Milwaukee at 10:30, Fort Lewis College at 2:00 and Century Community
College at 1:00.

All students will be taking yearbook and individual pictures next Thursday and Friday. Information packets will soon be available in advisory.

Tomorrow is the final election for Homecoming royalty. In advisory, students will vote for one boy and one girl from thier own grade. King and Queen for
Seniors, Prince and Princess for Juniors, Duke and Duchess for Sophomores, and Lord and Lady for Freshmen.

Today, tickets will be on sale for $5 for Central's homecoming dance. Tickets will be sold during all three lunches in the lobby.

Congratulations to the following 2008 National Merit Semifinalists: Alex Chudzik, Ilias Karim, Elwood McCreary, Daniele Monahan, Ellen Rice, Remy
Taghavi, Rafael Varela-Paul, and Sarah Waddle. These eight seniors have the chance to compete for 8,200 scholarship awards, worth a total of $33 million.

On Saturday, Sept 22nd, 2007, Mr. Matt Shipman and Addie See were blessed with a baby boy. Weighing only 6 pounds, Leo Shipman is healthy and
now at home with his parents. CONGRATS!!

Yesterday, Sept. 23, Sara and Todd Zimmerman White became parents of a 5'8" daughter Lucy. She was 3 weeks early but she and her mother are both
healthy and doing well! Congratulations Mrs. Zimmerman!

A new Central Quiz Bowl Team will have their intoductory meeting this Tuesday in Ms.LeClairs room 511. Come and learn about this excitng competition!

"Invent Minnesota" wants Central students to join the Invent Team. The group researches a problem and then develops a prototype invention. The
informational meeting will be held Thurs. September 27 in Room 213 at 2:15pm.

Upper Connection is sponsoring "See You at the Pole" on Wednesday, September 26 at 7:00 AM at the Central flagpole.

Fresh Force meets tomorow at 2:15, in room 578.
