Homecoming royalty nominations will take place this Friday in advisory. You may only vote for your own grade level. Freshman will be voting for lord and lady, Sophomores will nominate duke and duchess, Juniors will be choosing prince and princess, and Seniors will vote for king and queen. Every vote counts.

Do you like to argue? Study the law? Meet new people? If so, join Mock Trial. There will be an informational meeting today right after school in room 406. If you can't make it, there will be another meeting on Friday.

Central Cycling Club meets today after school in room 461. All students and teachers excited about bicycles are invited to attend.

"See you at the pole" will be next Wednesday, September 24 at 7:00am at the Flag pole. This is a time to pray for our country, families and friends. All students are welcome.

September is Hispanic Heritage Month. We at Central celebrate the contributions from Hispanic life and culture.

CMEP applications are available in Coach Howell's room 556. Their first meeting will be next week.

MEP 10th and 11th grade students need to turn there college permission slips into the Career Resource Center. If you need a new form pick it up in the CRC.

Tomorrow, Thursday, the new ceramics club will meet for the very first time at 2:10 in room 215 for an informational afternoon sign up. Find out what ceramics is, do fun projects, or just hang out. The club meeting ends at around 3:15, and there is a 15 dollar fee for ceramics supplies.

Seeds of Change Meets today after school at 2:15 in the Black Box. Today is the last day to join this life changing group. If you have any concerns about Transportation, Please see Ms. Cornelius Rish in the Black Box As soon as possible.

Mandatory meeting for Junior Anticipated I.B. Diploma Candidates on Thursday Sept. 25th. Make sure to meet in room 315 in period 3. See Ms. Jithadranathan for a pass.

At 5 the girls soccer team kicks off against the Harding Knights at the wonderful Griffin Stadium. The girls Are 5-0 and conference and have a 3 point lead over Highland Park in Conference standings. Sarah Ludwig has played like a All Conference Keeper having not allowed a goal in conference play in 5 games!

Tonight at 7 the boys soccer team takes on the Harding Knights at Griffin Stadium. Come watch All-Conference sure thing Naveed Effendi and outstanding Freshman Jonah Van Why take on the Knights and defend their conference record of 5-0 and try to keep their 1st place spot in conference standings.

On Friday the Central Minuteman football team takes on our cross-town rival the Highland Scots at 7 o' clock, here at Central. The Minutemen will be looking to add another win, as they are still undefeated in conference play. The annual game against the Scots is always a tough battle and the winner walks away with the prize of The Musket.

The Central girls tennis team fought a tough battle for the number 1 spot in conference last night against the Harding Knights here at Central. The girls managed to pull off a win and move into 1st place, winning four matches to three. Come watch the girls try to hold their number one spot against Arlington, here at Central, on Thursday.

Boys Basketball players who are interested in the fall league should turn in their money to Coach Howell as soon as possible.
