Today is Friday May 29th, 2009, the last day of school for seniors

Today is the last day of high school for the class of 2009. At 1:50, Seniors must meet in the lobby. They will then count down the last moments of school, with an official countdown of the last 30 seconds. Together, the Seniors will walk out under their class banner and will pass through a wall of red and black balloons as the 2:00 bell rings. Meet at Malcolm Kerr's car in the front for some music and dancing.

Today is the last chance for Seniors to get their Caps and Gowns in all 3 lunches in the auditorium and after school from 2:15 to 3:00.

The Central Boys and Girls Track Banquet will be Monday in the Cafeteria at 5:30pm. Freshman bring Salad, Sophomores bring Drinks, Juniors bring Desert and Seniors bring a Main Dish. Track members planning on attending, should RSVP Coach Taylor Today.

Seniors who requested extra graduation tickets should see Dr. Johnson during all three lunches.

Enrolled in Physics 1 IB SL next fall? Then stop on and see Mr. Murphy or Ms. Myers for your summer homework (rooms 323 or 326). It is a math packet that will be due on Tuesday, Sept 8, 2009 (the first day of school). We will be having our first Physics test on Wed Sept 9, so it is important that you pick up the work before you leave for summer vacation. (It is also available on Mr. Murphy's and Ms. Myer's Central HS webpages!)

All girls interested in playing girls' basketball should come to Centrals open gym Monday at from 4-6pm.

Last night the under graduate honor awards were presented to over 400 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. Parents and family watched while students received recognition for their accomplishments in academics, athletics, music, the performing arts, visual arts, and service activities of all kinds.

There will be a football meeting after school Monday June 1st in the cafeteria for all students interested in playing football next year.

Drama Board is holding directorial staff interviews Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school next week in Ms. Hutchinson's room for Central's Fall Musical "Once Upon a Mattress." If interested sign-up outside the office.

Anime Club meets today after school in room 326. This will be the last meeting for departing seniors.

Yesterday was the Student Council annual end of the year celebration. This celebration was to welcome in new student council members, induct new M-Team members, sign up for homecoming committees, and honor the graduating senior Student council members. They had food and games to keep everyone entertained.

Yesterday at Stillwater High School The 4AA Championship track and field meet was held. 17 Central Runners placed in this meet. Sophomore Andrew Lewis qualified for state in the 100 meter and 200 meter. Lets wish Andrew the best at state!!!

Yesterday, over 100 Seniors participated in the Annual Rent-A-Senior day. It is an opportunity for underclassmen or teachers to have Seniors do whatever they want for only $1 a senior. Seniors performed tasks such as carrying backpacks, saying or doing silly things in the hall ways, singing, wearing extreme outfits, chanting underclassmen names, and binging snacks to teachers. For most Seniors, teachers, and underclassmen, it was very enjoyable.

(VID)It has been 4 long, wonderful years for seniors today. As their times together come to an end, they hope to celebrate a new beginning and the end of one chapter of their lives.
