Congratulations to junior Martin Camacho. Martin has won a finalist medal for competing and taken 3rd place AND Honorable Mention from the American Mathematical Society. He is currently in Reno, Nevada competing at the International Science and Engineering Fair. Martin has competed with his science project entitled "Sequences of Reducible 0,1 Polynomials" at the Twin Cities science fair, and now International science fair.Congratulations and best of luck!

Today is Physics day at Valley Fair. Physics classes will go to Valley Fair to conduct physics observations.

Guiliko is a well established dancer in her country. It takes her 2 days to get home sometime tomorrow and we wish her safe travels.

National Honors Society meets in the auditorium today at 2:15pm for a full membership.

All new NHS committee Heads are to meet at Steve Quam's house for a dinner on Wednsday at 7pm.

Juniors signed up to be Junior Ushers at the 2009 graduation ceremony need to come to room 420 after school for interviews.

CTT's Performance "The Change That We Seek" scheduled for today at Central has been moved to 6th hour on May 28th. Teachers interested please place a note in Jane Mandell's Mail Box. Please be sure to include the number of students attending.

Students who are registered to take the AP LATE TESTS must report to the testing site 15 minutes before the time indicated on the schedule. Lists of AP Late Testing Students have been posted outside the library room 399 and in the front lobby. AP teachers , please notify students within your respective subjects.

The badminton team banquet is this Friday at the Dunning field house. All team members are welcome to attend. Seniors and Juniors bring main dishes, Sophomores bring side dishes, Freshman bring drinks and deserts. We will also give end of the season awards and elect next year's captains.

The Student Produced Independent Film Festival was held on Friday, some student was awarded the best film.

Last night was Central's Senior Recital with performances by Ben Tuthill, Ellen O'Malley, Emily Neset, Wendy Lang, Jennifer Wei, Clara Olson, Kristi Moua, Freddy Weiffering, Jeff Howe, Hannah Peterson, Camila Zimmerman, Katherine Williamson, Pachia Yang, Sam Smith, Berit Goetz, Geoff Schellenberg, Libby Arnosti, Nathan Arnosti, Nick DeLauriers and Zack Levinger. Congragulations Seniors!!!!!!!!!!

The badminton banquet and awards ceremony is Friday after school. Juniors and Seniors bring main dishes, Sophomores bring side dishes, freshman bring drinks and deserts. The banquet is at Dunning and is open to all badminton team members.

Seniors who fill the roll of one of the following positions should come to room 420 during 4th hour to be interviewed for the senior edition of the news paper: The top ten, Senior Class Council Officers and members, M-Team Officers and members, and the officers of the following clubs: Choir, Drama Board, Fresh Force, Habitat For Humanity, CACC, Chinese Club, Mesibah, MSA, CMEP, Math Team captains, Science Olympiad captains, and all sports captains.

Yesterday the Central Boys & Girls Track and Field teams competed in the preliminary stages of Conference Finals. Highlights include Lexie Millet winning the triple jump, Lenora Wilson winning the discus and both Kamal Jarso and Anna Schmidts placing 2nd in the 2 mile. Currently the Girls are in 1st place with 58 ahead of Highland Park by 7. The boys are in 2nd place behind Highland Park by 9. The meet will conclude on Wednesday.

Last night the Central baseball team lost to Woodbury 11-1. The Boys take on Roseville Area tonight in their final game before the Section Tournament starts on Thursday.
