Senior graduation talent auditions are all this week. All auditioning seniors should go to room 420 by 2:15.

CMEP is hosting a trip to Valleyfair on May 21st. Students can pick up applications in room 560 from Coach Howell. Permission slips are due by the end of this week. Space is limited.

All NHS members and IB students who are short CAS hours to can volunteer to set up chairs in the gym this Friday after school in preparation for IB Exams. Students interested can sign up with Mr. Cherin in room 461.

A reminder to all students the new secession of driver's ed begins tomorrow. Report to room 401 by 2:30.

(pic) This may be your last chance to attend "A Night in Paris" .. Central's Jr/Sr PROM tickets are on sale for 35 dollars cash in the cafeteria. Wednesday will be the last day for students to buy tickets to this gala, formal event of the year.

On May 15th Student Council will be hosting a blood drive in the Cafeteria, all students participating must be 16yrs of age and weighing over 110lbs.

A Friday afternoon with wall to wall people and tasty food can only me an one thing. It is the Annual Multi-cultural festival. Students were able to sample food and entertainment from a wide variety of cultures. Here is Kiara Jackson with some highlights.

Student Council elections will be held in the lobby tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday to elect Central's next years 25 council members.

The student produced independent film festival - SPIFF will be in two weeks. All interested students should turn in their video work to Mr. Cherin's room 461.

To all juniors, AP/IB exams start today, May 4, and end Friday, May 22. Students must check the examination schedule and report to the site ten minutes before the scheduled time.

Many Central students attended the hispanic celebration Cinco De Mayo held this past weekend on St. Paul's West side. The celebration ran for two days consisting of a car show on Friday, and a Grand Parade Saturday.

The Central Boys golf team competes in a quad match tomorrow against the Highland Park Scots, Como Park Cougars, and the Johnson Governors at Keller at 2:15

The Central Track And Field Team competes tomorrow in a non conference section 6AAA true team meet. the meet will take place at mounds view at 3:15

On Friday the Central Minutemen baseball team defeated the Harding Knights 18-6 in 5 innings. The minutemen now have a conference record of 7-1 and are first in conference with only 4 conference games left. Today the minutemen take on the Como Park Cougars at 3:45 at Como.

On Friday the Central Minutemaid badminton team lost to the Harding Knights 5-2. The girls are now 6-5 in conference and play their final conference meet today at Humboldt at 3:15. The city championships are this week on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Central Boys Tennis team lost a hard fought match last friday against the Highland Scots 4 to 3. the Teams next match is today against the Como Park Cougars at Como.

The Central Minutemaid softball team had a very busy weekend playing a conference game on Friday and three games on Saturday in the Tartan Tournament. The girls lost to Johnson 12-1 in 5 innings on Friday and continued to struggle on Saturday losing to St Francis 16-0 and then to New Prague 16-4. However the girls finished the weekend strong with a 13-1 victory over Minneapolis South. The Girls take on Highland Park today at 4 at Highland Park.
