(PICS)The Annual Multi-Cultural Festival is this Friday during 6th hour. The festival includes ethnic foods, customs, and dances from over 30 different cultural ethnic groups. Tickets are available on the day of the festival.

Ralph Wolters' Scholarship applications are due tomorrow in room 557 to Ms. Jithendranathan. The late Mr. Wolters taught Chemistry at Central for several years and was well loved and respected by staff and students alike. Two scholarships in his name worth $500 will be awarded to eligible students.

Attention all seniors, there are still 10 senior sweatshirts that need to be picked up. They can be picked up during lunch anytime this week.

Central's Prom "A night in Paris" is May 9th at the River center. Tickets are being sold this week for $35 in all 3 lunches.

The academic scholarship competition for recognition and college scholarships National Merit Scholarship Program, has announced that Nineteen Central High School juniors have qualified and met the requirements from the 2008 (PSAT) to enter the 2010 National Merit Scholarship Program. The qualifiers are:

Central's Senior "Animate Your Future" all night graduation party will be held on June 2nd. Invitations were mailed to seniors and must be returned by Friday, May 1st to register for $35, the price goes up if they are turned in late.

On Friday the Central Minutemaid Softball team suffered a tough loss to the Humboldt Hawks 6-5. The girls are now 1-5 in conference and play the Arlington Phoenix today at 4 at Arlington.

Class AAAA player and competed in this weekends All-Star tournament. She was also selected as a Metro Miss Basketball Finalist.

The Central Boys' Baseball team kept their winning ways alive on Friday with a win over the Humboldt Hawks, 13-10. Sophomore Brandon Purcell recorded his 2nd win of the season. The boys look to pound the Johnson Governors today at 3:45 at Johnson

On Friday the Central Boys tennis team defeated the Arlington Phoenix 7-0. The Boys are now 6-1 in conference and play the Harding Knights today at Harding at 3:15.
