(PIC) "A Night in Paris" Senior Prom will be May 9th. Tickets will be selling in the lobby for $35 up until May 6th. Only cash is accpeted, no checks.

There will be a review session for A.P. Macroeconomics today at 2:15 with Mr.Ormsby, room 464.

CMEP talent show is on May 15th. Auditions are this week.

Senior Hannah Peterson will be featured on Minnesota Public Radio tomorrow. She will be interviewed and playing a Neilson flute concerto. Tune in to 99.5 during the 7 o'clock hour or the 3 o'clock hour to listen.

Chinese Club meets today right after school in the lobby.

Registration forms for the Senior All Night Graduation Party, which will be taking place after graduation ceremonies are due Friday May, 1.

Seeds of Change meets today after school at 12:15 in the black box, please be on time.

Fresh force will be hosting a breakfast before school this Friday. All students are welcome to come.

Student Council will hold the annual Blood Drive on May 15th. Sign up will be next week May 5 through the 7th in the cafeteria.

(pics) The Multicultural Festival begins at 1 on Friday. Over 40 nations or ethnic groups will be represented. Tickets are required to buy food, and will be on sale tomorrow during all 3 lunches and during the festival for 50 cents. Come enjoy the food, the costumes, and the dance.

On Friday, there will be a shortened schedule because of the Multi-Cultural Fair. Classes end at 1:00 for the Fair to begin.

Seniors interested in speaking at graduation should sign up for the final audition session this Thursday. Sign ups are in room 420.

Seniors, have your money ready, Jostens will be here tomorrow to distribute Senior Graduation Announcements. They will have a few extra to sell.

Muslim Awareness Week continues this week. On Thursday, MSA hosts a speaker in the auditorium discussing the topic " Women in Islam" during 5th and 6th hour. Thursday is also a chance for girls to participate in hijab day. Pick up a scarf in the lobby Thursday morning on your way to class. After school on Thursday, a henna hand and arm tatoo artist will be available to any student for $5 - $10.

Applications to be in next year's Student Council are due tomorrow to room 321 or to Ms. LeClaire. Voting for next years Student Council will take place next week on May 5th, 6th and 7th. 25 new members will be elected.

Yesterday Central Boy's Golf defeated the Arlington Phoenix 12-0 and the Como Park Cougars 10-2. Central's next match is this Thursday against Como Park, Harding and Humbolt. Come cheer our boys on!!!

Girls Basketball open gym for girls interested in playing next year will be held today in Central's gym from 4:45-6.

In the Stewart invite track meet yesterday held at Mounds View High school the central boys track team finished in fifth place out of six schools. Highlights were Sophomore Andrew Lewis winning first place in the 100 and the 200 meter races.

Yesterday the Central Minutemaid softball team defeated the Minneapolis South tigers in a non conference game 16-2 in five innings. The Girls next game is Friday against the Johnson Governors here at Central at 4.

Yesterday the Central Girls golf team took 3rd place in a Nine Hole tournament and Tanners Brook. The scores were Highland Park 275, Como Park 277, Central 286.

The Central Badminton team takes on the Como Park Cougars today at Central at 3:15. A win today would move the girls up to 3rd place in the conference.
