The following college reps will be here this week in the Career Resource Center room 367: . Today, Northwestern College at 10:00. Tomorrow, University of Wisc. Milwaukee at 10:30, Fort Lewis College at 2:00 and Century Community College at 1:00.

Yearbook, ID and personal pictures will be taken tomorrow and Friday during a student's Math class. Students can get an ordr form fom their advisor teacher, at room 420, or in the office. Students without a math class must come for picture before or after school, or during their lunch period.

On October 10th, Indian Education students will be going to the National College Fair in Minneapolis, if students need another permission slip, extras are available in the office. It's a free event, and all forms are due by October 1st.

This morning many Central students and teachers gathered around Central's flag pole to pray. The event is called, "See you at the pole" and is recognized nationally. On this day ppl are invited around the US to gather and pray.

Mock Trial meets today after school in Room 406 from 2:15 to 4:00. Everyone is welcome to attend.

All Upward Bound Seniors need to stop by in room 553 tomorrow, and talk with Erin about applying for college.

The Senior Class primary election for class officers is Friday during advisory. Seniors will vote on Class President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. This primary election will determine the top three candidates for each position for the Officer Final election next week.

The School clinic is available for hearing and vision screening, which is part of a complete checkup. Stop by any time to make an appointment.

Juniors and Seniors interested in science and technology with a GPA of 2.0 or more and satisfactory attendance should come to an informational meeting about 3M STEP. 3M STEP offers classroom instruction, mentoring by a 3M scientist, and a paid, full-time summer job. The meeting is on Monday, October 1, 2:15, in the CRC.

Tomorrow is the final election for Homecoming royalty. In advisory, students will vote for one boy and one girl from thier own grade. King and Queen for Seniors, Prince and Princess for Juniors, Duke and Duchess for Sophomores, and Lord and Lady for Freshmen.

Tickets are onsale for $5 for Central's homecoming dance. Tickets will be sold during all three lunches in the lobby.

Next week is Home Coming Week. Monday is Get Up and Go day, Tuesday Twin Day, Wednesday is Random Act of Kindness Day, Student Council will have a scavanger hunt for free homecoming tickets, thurday is Rock the Red and Black day followed with pep fest and the football game, Friday is the Homecomming Dance.

Friday Sept 28th there will be a Indian Eduaction Fall Feast at the American Indian Magnet School the location of the school is 1075 east 3rd street 55106 . The dinner starts at 5pm and the powwow grand entry begins at 7pm. There will also be a mini-college fair from 5-8pm. Everyone is invited!

"Invent Minnesota", a group that researches problems and developes ideas is looking for new members. Interested students should come to the informational meeting at 2:15 tomorrow in room 213.

Tonight the Minuetemaids girls Soccer team takes on Henry-Sibley at 5:oo at Griffin Stadium.

In other non-conference action, the boy's Soccer team kicks off against Champlain Park directly after the Girls game, 7:00 at Griffin Stadium.

The Girls Volleyball team dominated the Humboldt Hawks ysterday improving their conference record to 7-0

Today, immediately following the news, all juniors are to report to the gymnasium for a "Will You Be There" assembly. Juniors will take a class photo, and sign their 2009 banner.
