(IS)Voting for Senior Class Council members takes place next tuesday. 6 candidates will be elected. The Senior Class Council members candidates are; Julia Amundson, Curtis Bakken, Britany Brown, Vanessa Gill, Dorothy Her, Megan Howard, LaCresia King, Chee Kue Lee, Heidi Masanz, Arwa Osman, Courtney Paulson, Daniel Salazar, Leah Sarzoza, Halston Sleets, Cher Vang, Mai Kou Yang, Mai Nhia Yang, and Mercedes Yarbrough.

The Blintzes, Zombie the Dragon Slayer, Maznaza Casa and The Post-Mercury preform tonight at 7:00 in the Black Box Theatre and for just three dollars, you can see all four Central bands in this concert sponsored by the NHS.

There will be an ACT prep course on Saturday, November 17 and December 1 from 9:00am-3:00pm at Central for only $1.00. For a registration form see Ms. Krejce in room 367.

On Wednesday Oct. 17th, freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be testing! 9th graders will be taking the EXPLORE test, 10th greaders will be taking the PLAN test, and 11th graders will be taking the PSATs. Here with more information is Superintendant Maria Carstaphen.

Late registrations for IB exams will be taken next Monday and Tuesday, from 7:30 - 10:30a.m, in Ms.Warner-Tonyans room 557.

The Chemistry Club meets today after school in room 318. Students must have their signed safety contract turned in to Ms. Jithendranathan by today.

Today's Anime Club meeting is postphoned until next Friday.

Centrals Paintball Club's first meeting is today at 2:15, in Mr.Larsons room 514.All levels are welcome to attend.The meetings will discuss paintball,plan matches, and occasionally just play video games.

Monday, October 15th at 6:00pm there is a Baseball Booster club dinner meeting at Dunning Rec center. Food is provided and all potential players and their parents are encouraged to attend.

Central's Minutemen Football team takes on the Arlington Pheonix today at 4:00 PM. at Arlington High School. Central is currently 3 to 2 in conference, putting the football team in third place.

Tomorrow, Saturday, at 7 p.m the Central Boys Soccer Team goes against Cretin Derham Hall at Macalester College for the Semi Finals for Section 4AA.Good Luck Boys!
