(PICS)Yesterday, Central rocked to a free concert from B5, the Breedng Brothers; Dustin 19, Kelly 18, Patrick 17, Carnell 15 and Bryan 13. B5's new album "Don't Talk Just Listen" is now out and features the hit single "Hydrolics" which was performed yesterday much to the delight of everyone. The concert was sponsored by B96 and was responsible because of your great texting abaility! Good job Central.

The following colleges will be here during the week in the CRC. Today- St.John's, St.Ben's, Yale, St.Olaf. Thursday- Knox College, Kenyon College, Concordia-Moorhead. Friday- Oberlin College, Harvey Mudd, St.Thomas, Chicago University and Occidental College.

(IS)Today's Homecoming activity is "Twin Day"! Tomorrow is "Random Act of Kindness Day" and there will be a scavenger hunt for free dance tickets. Homecoming Royalty Coronation takes place tomorrow night at 7 pm. in the auditorium. Come see the crowning of the King and Queen, Prince and Princess, Duke and Duchess, and Lord and Lady. The highlight of Coronation will include Central's Hip Hop Team, Mani Strings, and much more talent. The night will end with a drawing for a free Homecoming Picture Packet.

(IS)Homecoming dance tickets can be purchased during all three lunches in the lobby today. Tomorrow is the last day to purchase a ticket. They are running out, so get your tickets soon!

(IS) Over 350 Seniors voted in the class of 2008 officer primary election. This Thursday is the final vote for Senior Class Officers. The candidates for President are Dorothy Her, LaCresia King, and Ben Quam. For Vice President is Julia Amundson, Megan Howard, and Daniel Newsom. For Secretary is Arwa Osman, Danielle Salazar, and Samuel Solomon. And for Treasurer is Britany Brown, Mohomed Diriye, and Courtney Paulson.

Students who are down credits should see Annette Nelson in Room 385 about The Extended Day Progam. The Extended Day Program is an afterschool program that gives students the chance to make up credits.

Sunday, October 7th from 6-10p.m. there will be a concert with 3 bands including Central's own The Blintzes featuring Curtis Baaken, Peter G.H., Andre Borka, and Michael Grothy. The concert will be held at the Hat Trick Lounge on 134 east 5th Street in St.Paul Minnesota. The cost is $5 and all are welcome.
