Today, The traditional Holiday Dia De Los Muertos, also known as The Day Of The Dead is being celebrated mainly in mexico and in the United States by the Mexican Immigrant Community. The celebration started yesterday known as All Saints' Day and continues through today. The traditional mood is much brighter with emphasis on celebrating and honoring life after death. The deceased Children (los Angelitos or the angels) are given toys and the Adults are given Tequila.

Retake pictures for yearbook and picture packages are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov 6th from 7 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.. Bad pictures caused by the photographer will be retaken for free - all other retakes must be paid for -by a small fee. Students wanting picture packages can pick up an order form to bring on Tuesday to order pictures.

Senior class poll pictures will be taken today. Winners are listed outside of the cafeteria on the trophy case. Pictures will be taken during fourth hour outside of room 419.

(IS) The annual Sadie Hawkins dance is next Thursday, November 8th. Tickets are being sold during all three lunches and cost 15 dollars.Next week is Sadie's week. Monday is Get Up and Go Day, Tuesday is Where's Waldo Day, Wednesday is Wacky Dress Day, and Thursday is Sports Gear Day. Show your school spirit and participate!

3 months ago the 35W bridge collapsed kiling 13 and injury many more. Tonight In Centrals Black Box there will be a benefit concert for those effected by the collapse. With more information heres James Updike and Allie Snoodie.

The volleyball team banquet is on Monday, November 5th. See Coach Kiedrowski for details. Also 9th grade volleyball players should come pick up their jackets from Ms. Funk in the Gymnasium Office.

The Girls Swimming and Diving Team goes up against Minneapolis South in the Twin Cities Conference Meet. The meet is at Minneapolis Southwest High School tomorrow at 1:00 pm. The girls feel that this is the year they will upset the Tigers. Come and show your support!
