Routes and Shoots meets today after school in Ms.Houdek's room, 207 at 2:40. All members who sold chocolate need to turn in their money as soon as possible.

All Seniors need to be aware that the University of Minnesota's college applications are due on Saturday December 15. So turn in your application forms into your counselor as soon as possible.

(VID)The annual Winter Choir Concert takes place this Thursday at 7:00 in the auditorium. Directed by Martha Graber,it features voices from the concert choir, the Women's and Men's Choirs, and the Central Singers. Here is a sample of one the featured songs, "How Lovely in the Dwelling Place."

The Hunger Awareness Food Drive sponsored by student continues until next Wednesday. Advisories should bring full brown paper bags to room 321. The top four advisories wih the most non-perishable goods will receive juice and doughnuts in advisory on Friday, December 21.

A few weeks ago Emma Burgenson was featured on the Central Morning News. Here are Nicole Thao and Dorothy Her with this weeks Central Student Spotlight.

If you would like to nominate a student or yourself to be featured on Central's Student Spotlight, pick up a form outside of room 420.

Habitat for Humanity meets Thursday, December 13th in Mr.Nelsons room directly after school, for students who would like to build this Saturday at the Habitat Warehouse in Minneapolis.

Next week is Winter Snow Fun Week, with lots of fun activities planned. Monday is a medallion hunt, Tuesday is winter gear day, Wednesday is cookie decorating day, Thursday is capture the flag day, and Friday is sledding day.

Central's NHS Enviromental Committee is showing "Fern Gully" on Thursday in room 461. All students are welcome to attend. Students are also asked to bring paper grocery bags to make recyclable wrapping paper during the movie.

National Honors Society's Holiday Show is December 14, at 6pm in the auditorium. The cost is $3. There to preform will be Bob and His Soul Shoes, Post-Mercury, The Switch and others.

Tonight Central's Girls' Gymnastics team will face off against Como Park at Como Park at 6:30 PM. They hope to improve their current conference record of 0-1.

Last night, the Blades suffered a loss of 0-8 to Blake at Phalen. The Blades will play again on Saturday.

Yesterday here at Central, the Girls Basketball team defeated Minnetonka 62 to 43 improving their record to 6-1. Senior Georgie Jones had 13 points and 13 rebounds for Central. The Minutemaids goes up against Christ's Household of Faith next Thursday.
