(PICS-11) Yesterday afternoon over 250 Central 9th graders studied at "Cocoa & Cram" sponsored by Link Crew . Special thanks to the many teachers and

Link Crew leaders who came to help students study and prepare for finals. ..................

With finals coming Thursday and Friday, all students can take advantage of the free tutoring by teachers today after school in the library.. All subjects are

covered. Bus tokens are given free to ride the city bus home. Students must stay a minimum of one hour. See Mrs. Erickson in the library right after school to

sign up....................

Student Councils "Winter Jam" benefit concert will be held next friday January 25th. The show takes place in Centrals auditorium and features performances by

Zombie The Dragon Slayer, Mani Strings, Corey Vance and Sky High.

"Seeds Of Change" meets today afterschool in the Blackbox. Those who cannot attend, please see Mrs. Mandell during school today.

The Speech Team meets afterschool today in room 323, A Yearbook picture will be taken..........

There are only 87 school days left for Central seniors. The Senior Class meets next Thursday, 2nd period in the auditorium for a presentation from Josten's

about graduation announcements, to discuss cap & gown ordering procedures, to hear about Snowtubing, and discussion graduation ceremonies..................

Friday night the Central Orchestra performs as featured guests at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. The orchestra will play selctions from the Peer Gint suite and

the choir will join them with a selction from Brahms. Here is a selction from their rehersal (pause).

ON Thursday the boys' 2 and 0 swimming and diving team will meet the Humboldt Hawks at Humboldt at 4:30

Friday night the Minutemen boys basketball team takes on the Johnson Governors at Central at 7 P.M. and on Tuesday night goes against the Harding Knights

at Harding. ........

The girls' basketball team with a record of 11 wins and 2 losses will battle the Johnson squad at 7 PM on Friday at Johnson. The Minutemen girls return to

Central Tuesday night against Harding.

The Como-Central boys' hockey team hits the ice tonight against the Johnson Governors at the Coliseum. The puck drops at 8 P.M...On Friday the ice-men go

to Aldrich Arena to take on the Saints...............

The Minutemen wrestlers meet the Harding Knights on the mats at Central Thursday night at 7 P.M..................

Saturday the girls' hockey team, the Baldes, skate against Blake.......
