Welcome back to the Bands, Orchestra and Choirs from their trip to Chicago. Students had a great time seeing the sights and performing all around the city.

All students scheduled to take the Test of Emerging Academics in English, will be tested this week. 9th graders will tested tomorrow and 10th-12th graders will

test on Wednesday. Both tests will take place at 7:30 in the cafeteria. Students with questions should see Annette Nelson in Room 385 in the guidance

department.

Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11 and 12, the Mock Trial team competes in the state tournament at the Ramsey County Courthouse.

(vid) Last Saturday, Centrals Boys Basketball Team Defeated Minneapolis Patrick Henry 93 to 81 and earned bragging rights as the best boys basketball team

in the St. Paul and Minneapolis City Conferences. The last time the boys basketball team competed in the Twin cities game was back in 2005 where they lost

to Minneapolis North. The boys had not won the the TC game since 1989 when they beat Minneapolis South 87 to 80 in overtime. Tomorrow the boys travel to

Tartan to play the 4th seeded Titans in the first round of Sectional play.

The Girl's Basketball team will be at the Target Center, Wednesday at 2p.m. to compete in the first round of the state tournament, against the St.Cloud Tech.

St. Cloud Tech is seeded 6th in state and Central is 3rd.

(IS) Girls' Basketball State Tournament tickets will only be on sale tomorrow in school during all 3 lunch tickets are $7.00 for students & $10.00 for adults, fan

busses & the price to ride is $3.00 leaving from Central at 1:15 p.m. & returning after the game
