On Tuesday, November 11th, Veterans were honored at the Veterans Day Ceremony at the State Capital.Family and friends gathered in the cold weather conditions to show their respect and appreciation.Centrals Band, directed by Mr.Oyen performed Patriotic pieces and began the ceremony. Danielle Distad was there. Here she is with the story.

(vid)Yesterday in the lunchroom, after school, friends and family gathered to support Theairra Taylor signing the letter of intent to attend the University of Iowa, a Division 1 school. Coach Taylor thanked Dave Lavick from the Star Tribune, Kevin Carlisle and Nate Galloway. Ms. Mackbee talked about Theairra not only being a great basketball player, but a very good student and role model. Theairra then signed the letter of intent and happily celebrated with her family and friends.

C.M.E.P. hosts a 3 on 3 basketball tournament today at 2:30 at Jimmy Lee Rec. center

Next Wednesday the seniors will be going rollerskating, please turn in your permission slips today or tomorrow to room 420.

Tonight at 5pm the girls swimming and diving team competes in the section meet at Stillwater high school. The finals begin on Saturday at 1pm, again at Stillwater.
