Students will be released at 12:00.

(IS) Wednesday and Thursday next week will be first Quarter finals. On Wednesday you will have finals on Periods 1, 3 and 5. On Thursday you will have finals on Periods 2, 4 and 6. All other classes on finals day will be shortened. Friday there will be no school for students.

There is a National Honor Society meeting for all members today. Meet in the auditorium right after school.

(IS) For seniors applying to colleges, there are five items you will need to bring to your appointment: your applications, recommendations, addressed envelopes, application fee and $2 per transcript. Your counselor will do the rest for you.

11th and 12th grade Somali students are invited to spend the day at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities on Friday, November 21 from 8:00-1:45. Students will tour campus, listen to on admissions and financial aid. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Permissions slips are available from Ms. Krejce in room 367.

Election day is 1 week away. Students will voting in their Social Studies classes as part of the national "Kids Vote" program. Voting will take place in the Library, media Center in the new computer labs.

Notice to 11th and 12 graders! Those who have been notified by Ms Fitzgerald, meet in the library to take the Companion Placement Test tomorrow from 9:30 to 11:30. This will help you plan for the future.

Today will be the first Science Olympiad meeting in Mr. Karlen's room 312 from 2pm to 2:30. If you cannot make this first meeting, be sure to stop by and grab an info sheet from Angie or Ruben

Freshman boys interested in playing basketball at the Jimmy Lee Recreation Center, attend the meeting held Wednesday after school at 6:00pm. If you have any questions see Coach Howell in room 556.

Girls gymnastics has started. Gymnasts meet in the gymnastics room for practice everyday at 2:15

On Saturday the Girls Swimming & Diving team competed in the Conference meet at Humboldt, the Girls recieved a score of 432 and won the meet. Senior Libby Arnosti was a 1st place winner in 3 races including two relays. Freshman Erin Holmes had a good meet receiveing one 1st place win one second place award and one 3rd place award. Tonight is their final conference meet of the season as they take on the Harding Knights at Humboldt at 6.
