Tomorrow the final election for senior class council takes place in advisory. Seniors will be electing 6 of the following candidates; Pamela Diaz, Grace Goode, Emily Johnson, Steven Klutho, Zack Levinger, Stacy Mai, Tristan McCormick, Ryan Sporer, John Thao, Dawn Vang, Huava Xiong and Tomnema Xiong.

Attention all Juniors who are signed up for Central's Extended day program. There are classes today after school at 2:15. If you have any questions see Annette Nelson in room 382.

The seniors official "Class of 09" picture will be taken Tuesday during 2nd hour. Seniors wear your red and black!

On Wednesday October15. 9 through 11 will be testing. 9th graders will be taken the EXPLORE, 10th, the Plan test and 11th graders the PSAT test. The test will take place in Advisory. Seniors have a late start starting at 10:36.

Today Jewish students at Central celebrate Yom Kippur which ends the holy days of Rash Hashanah. People of the Jewish faith typically spend this day fasting and with intensive prayer.

October 13th Habitat for Humanity will be meeting in Mr. Nelson room 222. For important in formation for students interested on building on Saturday Oct.18. For more information contact Lexy Millet.

Cycling club meets this Today after school in Mr. Cherin's room. Please stop by Mr. Cherin's room and touch base in room 461.

Ninth and tenth grade girls basketball players who are interested in playing in the fall basketball league at Bloomington kennedy, should sign up with coach Taylor before Friday.

The boys soccer team has their 1st section playoff game tonight against White Bear Lake.
Now here are Zane and Patrick from the boy's soccer team.

If the boys win tonight they could be taking on the high ranked Woodbury in the next round.

Mock Trial team meets today in room 406 from 2:15 to 4pm.

October is Teen Read Month. If you would like join this new program sign up at the front desk at any public library, read book for 15 minutes, and receive $1 off of any library fine. This offer ends October 31. If you like comics and graphic novels come watch recent anime releases October 17, Friday until 5:30 p.m.
Also, if you enjoy reading the Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series, attend the Twilight party October 18, Saturday from 1-3 p.m at the downtown Library.
