(Pics) This morniing, over twenty five students gathered at the flag pole to pray for the school, country, family, and friends. this annual event is called See you at the Pole, sponsored at Central by Upper Connections.

Senior class council candidates must meet with Mr.Schlukebier today during their lunch in room 420.

Debate practice is canceled for today due to early release. An optional replacement practice will be held at 2:30 today at Steve Quam's house. Regular schedule will continue on Thursday at 6:00 in room 242.

(Pics) This morning the superintendant of St. Paul schools, Dr. Carstarphan, met with M-team in the CRC room. She discussed the current state of the school system; the declining number of students attending high schools, the present achievement gap, and what we can do as students to help rectify the situation.

Any students interested in media production and community issues are welcome to join the "SET IT UP CREW". "SET IT UP" is a part of the Youth Media Program at St.Paul Neighborhood Network and is a teen-produced TV show that explores the issues affecting teens in St.Paul. Yesterday the Central Volleyball team defeated the Humbolt Hawks in three matches. The girls remain undefeated in conference with a 6-0 record. Tomorrow, Central will play the 5th place Harding Knights at Harding.

The 1st place girls soccer team takes on the 2nd place Highland Park Scots tonight, at Highland, at 7pm. The girls currently lead the conference but Highland is a close 2nd with only one loss. A win tonight for the girls could mean the conference title. Come cheer on the girls as they battle for 1st place.

Picture Day is Tomorrow and Friday. Students will take pictures during their Social Studies Class.The Classes of Balk, Beseman, Brigger, Cherin, Costello, Pearson, Fairchild, Greener, Merton, Larson, or Bronson will be taking Pictures tomorrow. Have Your Picture Packets Ready. More Picture Forms are Available in the office and room 420 if you need one. Seniors MUST have their ID Pictures Taken!!!

The Central boys soccer team takes on the Highland Park Scots tonight at Highland, at 5pm. The boys are 8-0 in conference and are on their way to becoming conference champs. Come cheer on the boys as they look to stay a top the conference.

_The Central Girls Tennis team beat Como Park Cougars 4-3. The girls remain on top of the conference with a record of 8-1.The Girls have now advanced to the Twin Cities match against Minneapolis South West. The girls play there final match in conference play against the Johnson Governors at Griffin tomorrow.
