Today is the last day to have pictures taken for a picture package. Yearbook and student ID pictures will be taken in room 420 until 1 o'clock today. Students should get a pass from their social studies teacher or come during passing time or lunch time.

Mock Trial team meets today in Ms. Peterson's room 406 from 2:15-4:00. Members, and students interested should attend.

Juniors that have not passed the Reading segment of the MCA II, remember to attend the mandatory informational meeting in the Auditorium on Tuesday during advisory.

Senior Class Officer Primary Election is Wednesday during Advisory. Seniors will vote to select the top 3 Candidates for the offices of Senior Class President, Senior Class Vice President, Senior Class Secretary, and Senior Class Treasurer.

This week's Math Trivia question......What is the solution to the equation 8x-10= 54? Put your answer in a complete sentence and into the box in Mrs. Olson's room (571). Include your name and advisory.

Seeds of Change members will be taking a field trip Wednesday at 10:00am to see the play FENCES by August Wilson. Please turn in permissions slips to Cornilis in the Black Box or if you don't have one pick one up one from Cornilis.

IB Exam registration begins Wednesday, October 1st for all IB testing students and teachers. Students on free or reduced lunch do not need to make any payment. All others must pay $25 per test. Please write separate checks for each test and make them payable to Central High School. Registration forms are available in room 551. See Mrs.J for any questions.

Gustavus Adolphus, Lake Forest College, Washington U of St. Louis, U of Richmond, Whittier College, U of Colorado, Swarthmore College, Tuskegee College, Barnard College, Bowdion, U of British Columbia, U of Southern California, Vassar College, Bryn College and last but not least Pomona College. For more information on times and dates see the bulletin board.

Roots and Shoots will meet Wednesday in room 207. Wear your dirty clothes.

At 4:30 the Girls soccer team will take on the Arlington Phoenix in what looks to be an easy match against a team that is 0-9. The girls are currently atop the conference standings with a record of 8-0-1. The girls have only three games left in the conference season and look to finish strong.

For all girls interested in trying out for the Central gymnastics team there will be an informational meeting today in the gymnastics gym after school.

Alpine ski team meets Thursday October 2nd in room 463 immediately after school. All students who wants to participate must attend.

The girl's Tennis team defeated Johnson on Friday by forfeit. Central takes on Minneapolis Southwest today at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Club, at 3pm.

Today at 3 the Central Minutemen Boys' soccer team will kick off against the Arlington Phoenix at Griffin Stadium. The boys are leading the Conference with an undefeated 9-0 record and only 3 games to play in the season. Good luck boys!
