Yesterday was the annual hall of fame induction ceremony. Four Central graduates were honored for their personal and professional achivements during and following high school. The 2008 hall of fame inductees were Gary Ales class of 1958, Neal Amundson class of 1933 who's award was accepted by his son., Chuck Devet class of 1957, and Patricia Benton Johnson class of 1952. Each inductee gave an acceptance speech and reflected back on their high school experiences at Central. Here is Patricia Benton Johnson during her acceptance speech. (V.I.D.)

The African American Male support group, "Seeds of Change" meets today after school promptly at 2:15 in the Black box.

IB exam registration with Ms. Jithendranathan continues today through Friday.

Senior class picture next week on Tuesday at 2nd hour. All senior should wear there red and black.

Central Cycling Club,meets this Thursday after school in Mr. Cherin's, room 461. Students not able to attend should stop by Mr. Cherin's room and touch base.

Next Wednesday, October 15th, will be a testing day. Students in 9th grade will take the EXPLORE test, 10th grade students will take the PLAN test and 11 grade students will take the PSAT. These test will be given in your advisory starting first hour. Seniors will have a late start. Regular classes will begin at 10:36.

Last Night, the Girls Volleyball team lost to the Highland Park Scots in a tough game. It was a close intense game from start to finish. This is the first loss in conference for Central. The girls are still first in conference with a record of 9-1. Their next game is Friday evening at 7pm at Como Park.
