M-team is now selecting new members for student council all throughout this week. If you are interested in joining student council, pick up an application outside the door of room 321, turn it in under the door, or give it to a current M-team member.

The 2008 Hall of Fame Assembly will be tomorrow during Period 3. New members to be inducted into the Central Hall of Fame are: Gary Ales, class of '58, Neal Amundson, class of '33, Chuck DeVet class of '57, Patricia Benton Johnson class of '52. Teachers who would like to bring a class please fill out the form and turn it in to Ms. Lentsch.

Book club meets Wednesday October 8th after school in the library to discuss, " The Glass Castle".

The following colleges will be here this week: Middlebury, Harvey Mudd, U of Chicago, Stanford, Davidson, Lehigh, U of Wisc. Stout, Columbia U of New York, Drake, Dartmouth, Century, St. Paul College, Girl Scout Recruiters, Northern Michigan U, St. Bens & St. Johns, U of MN Morris, U.S. Naval Academy, and Concordia College. Check the CRC for the time and dates.

Friday, October 10 Is the final deadline IB test registration. Payment must be included with the form. There is no charge for students on free or reduced lunch.

On Friday night Central wrapped up its homecoming week with its annual Homecoming dance in the Cafeteria. A.j. Perrymen, former Central student was the D.J. for the dance. 600-700 students. The dance ended at 10:30. it was a great time enjoyed by all.

Senior class will have a primary elections for Council members on Wednesday in advisory.

The Senior Class Officers have been elected. Malcolm Kerr is the 09 Class President, Keyana Comer is Vice President, Larry Davis is Treasurer, and Houa Lor is Secretary. Senior Class Council Members will be elected this week.

The Volleyball team attended the Park Cottage Grove Tournament on Saturday where they won two matches and also lost two. The Girls play tomorrow at Highland Park whom they have already defeated once this year.

The girls Swimming and Diving team took on Humboldt in a conference meet on Friday. The girls won easily by a score of 107-36 and are still in the lead or the conference title. The minute-maids also participated in the Simley Invitational on Saturday where they took 7th place.
