Yesterday Central's Concert Choir participated in the 105th annual Saint Olaf Choral Festival. Central was 1 of 3 featured choirs to sing in the concert. They sang 3 of their own pieces and 4 songs with the Saint Olaf Choral enssemble directed by world renound Dr. Antwone Armstrong. There were over 1400 singers at the day long event. Congratulations to Mrs. Graber and the Concert Choir for this great honor.

Young Democrats meets after school today in room 465. Members are incouraged to attend, snacks will be provided and presidential candidates will be discussed.

Attention Seniors! If you're 18 you may be eligible to finally join the millions of Americans who vote. Tomorrow's local elections are for the St. Paul City Council and the St. Paul Public Schools School Board. Students who are an American citizens and want to vote, can go to the nearest voting station during voting hours. Bring a proper identification to register, and make your opinion count as an American voter!

Today in advisory juniors will be nominating classmates for the junior yearbook polls. Students should print their nominess clearly in ink. Nominations need to be sent to room 419 in the envelope at the end of advisory on Tuesday.

Central Asian Club meets today right after school in room 402. Members interested in attending the November 17th trip to Gustavus for their Asian Club New Years should come to today's meeting.

Students intrested in being a highschool page this summer for the Minnesota House of Representatives at the State Capitol need to get and application from Mr. Greeener in room 462. Applications are due by November 16th.

Novemeber 30th, Fresh Force is sponsoring "Feed the Need", a fundraising dinner and banquet to fight hunger and homelessness. Students interested in performing or becoming an M C for this dinner, should sign up outside of the office.

Chinese Club members who want to take part in the Wonton sale must attend the food safety class in the cafeteria today afterschool.

Last friday he 35W Bridge Crarity Concert took place in the Black Box. The concert started at 6 p.m. and went until 10 p.m. Over 100 people came in attendence, raising over 400 dollars. Seven spectacular bands performed with three solo acts including,: Menzana Caza, Going Postal, More than Useless, Mani Strings and D.J. Drumma Boy, Post Mercury, The Switch, and Just The End. There were solo acts by Kymyle Mims, Andre Borka and Darnell Overton. It was a great concert for a great cause. Stay tuned after the news for more footage.

Kemal Jarso represented St. Paul Central at the Minnesota State High School Cross Country Championship last Saturday. He finished the 5,000 meter course in a personal best time of 16 minutes and 09 seconds. Kemal finished 15th out of 156 competitors in the AA race and was named to the all-state cross country team for his effort. He was also the second best Sophomore runner in the state of Minnesota!

All Central Alpine Ski and Snowboarding members the fundraising materials are due tomorrow. The $380 team participation fee is due by November 15.

The Volleyball Banquet is tonight at 6:00. Team members who want their sweatshirts and sweatpants make sure you bring your money with you.

Girls baseketball open gym will be held tuesday 2:30-4:00.
