(PICS) April 22nd is known as Earth Day. Earth Day was founded by Senator Gaylord Nelson. Earth Day was first organized in 1970 to promote ecology and
respect for life on the planet, as well as to encourage awareness of the growing problems of air, water and soil pollution. In honor of Earth Day many Central
students rode their bikes to school.

The muticultural fair is May 9th.Here are comittee heads Sopfie,Alex and Jill with updated info.

The following activities will be in all 3 lunches today. You may sign up for Blood drive which starts May 1st and for St. Paul connections classes for the
summer. Prom Tickets are now on sell through May 1st for 35 dollars each, and you may also sign up to pledge for Drunk Driving Prevention in all three
lunches today also.

Tonight the Ordway Honors concert takes place at the Ordway in downtown St.Paul at 7pm. The concert includes musicians, artists and singers from St.
Paul Public High Schools. The event showcases a choir, an orchestra, a concert band and an art gallery.

Deadline is this Friday for Seniors interested in the Central High School Scholarship. Over 30 scholarships with amounts up to 12,000 dollers will be awarded
on Senior Honors night. Application are available in the CRC.

This Friday in the Black Box the benefit concert Greenstock will be held from 7 to 10pm. The entertainers include Zombie the Dragon Slayer, Manzana Casa,
Post Mercury, and Tonight Robots Rock. The admission fee is 3 dollars.

The NHS induction ceremony is tomorrow night at 7pm.

9th and 10th grade students who would like to serve at Prom see Mrs Olson in room 571. Participants will receive free prom pictures and help make Prom
night unforgetable.

Prom Commitee meets today after school at 2:05pm. There are also 2 Prom Commitee meetings on Wednesday and Thursday after school.

The Baseball, softball and Track teams will take their yearbook picture today afterschool.

Softball won 6-5 in 9 innings yesterday, with Mia Wahlberg pitching all 9 innings. Meghan Roegge went 2-4. The team plays Johnson today at home, they are
currently 3-0 in the conference.

The baseball team whomped Harding 10-1 yesterday, improveing their conference record to 2-0. The boy's will travel to Como today to take on the Cougars.

Boys golf plays in the Como Park Invitational at the Highland Park National golf course.The match starts at 2:30.

Centrals Track team has a meet today agianst Arlington, Como, and Harding at Central, at 3:15.
