Financial Aid Night is on Thursday February 12th from 6 to 8 in the library. Students and parents are welcome to attend to learn more about paying for college.

Students going on the 3M step Field trip, The bus will pick you up in front of central at 11:10 this morning.

Young life is hosting "Midnight Madness 2009" on Saturday, February 7th. Participating students will meet at Central at 9:00pm, go to Saints North,Lifetime fitness, and Gameworks, and return at 6:00am Sunday morning.Permission slips and $30.00 must be payed by February 6th.

Seniors who haven't passed the B.S.T math test will test tomorrow at 7:30am in the cafeteria. The reading test will be on Wed. at 7:30am also in the cafeteria. Any further questions see your guidance counselor.

Auditions for the spring play "Noises Off" takes place today and tomorrow. Students interested should sign up on the office window.

The conference undefeated Central Minutemen Girls Basketball team crushed the Como Park Cougars 70 to 17 Friday at Como. 5'11 Senior Theirra Taylor was the leading scorer with 23 points. The girls broke the conference record of 67 consecutive wins, previously held by Cretin, with 68 wins after the victory against Como. The girls play away tomorrow at Humboldt. Tip off is at 7pm.

The Central Minutemen Boys Basketball team defeated the Como Park Cougars 79-56 here at Central Friday night. 6'3", Senior, Jordan Larson was the high scorer with 22 points, and 5'9", Junior, Cameron Smith followed with 14 points. The team had an outstanding 7 three-pointers. The second place in conference boys take on the 7th place Humboldt Hawks tomorrow night here at Central at 7pm.

The Central Alpine ski team participated in the Welch Invitational held at Welch Village last Friday.
Team captain Cara Hardy did well placing 33rd out of 323 racers.
The team will participate in section 4 race at Wild Mountain this Wednesday.
