Today during advisory, junior advisors should collect the junior yearbook polls. Advisors should send a student with the polls in an envelope to room 419 at the end o advisory.

Last Friday, November 2nd, Mexican Americans celebrated Dia De Los Muertos. (VCR-VID) Centrals BROWN group hosted a celebration in Centrals Cafeteria honoring Life After Death. Selected Spanish classes listened to a short speech about Dia De Los Muertos and were given a chance to try different Mexican Traditional foods, such as Tortillas, Mexican Rice, Enchiladas, beans and desert cake dishes made by BROWN members.

Novemeber 30th, Fresh Force is sponsoring "Feed the Need", a fundraising dinner and banquet to fight hunger and homelessness. Students interested in performing or becoming an M C for this dinner, should sign up outside of the office.

Students intrested in being a highschool page for the Minnesota House of Representatives at the State Capitol during the Januray to May legislative session, need to get an application from Mr. Greener in room 462. Applications are due by November 16th.

Today is the first Tuesday in November, which means that it is election day. Today US citizens 18 years of age or older have the privliage of being able to vote for city council and school board. In Centrals ward, two Central Graduates Debbie Montgomery, and Melvin Carter are running agaisnt each other for City Council. Voting hours are from 7Am to 8 PM so take some time out of your busy schedual and make a difference in your community.
