There will be a parent information meeting for parents of students interested in Central summer trip to England and Ireland. Parents should meet in Ms. Peifer's room, 403, Thursday evening at 7:00 P.M. for treats and information.

This Sunday is Veteran's Day. The Central High Band under the direction of Matt Oyen will again participate at a special Veteran's Day program at the Vietnam Memorial on the Minnesota State Capital grounds. The Ceremony begins at 11:00

Students interested in writing for or working on the School newspaper or yearbook are invited to join the Journalism Club today after school in room 420. The Journalism Club meets every Wednesday.

(DV) Here's something new! Are you good at hand and eye coordination? Starting today Central's new Cup Stacking Club will meet every Wednesday afterschool in room 275. Students interested can join Mrs. Trechel today in this popular college sport.

Link Crew training for the up coming Advisory presentations is scheduled for next Monday 2:20-4:20 and Tuesday 6;00-8;00 in the Black Box. Each Link Crew member must attend one training session.

Juniors intrested in being a highschool page for the Minnesota House of Representatives at the State Capitol during the Januray to May legislative session, need to get an application from Mr. Greener in room 462. Applications are due by November 16th

Tomorrow in advisory, juniors will be voting for the final two boys and girls in each catagory of the junior yearbook polls.

Today durring A lunch the following seniors need to report to room 419 to retake senior yearbook poll pictures: Kiara Buford, Georgie Jones, Larry brown, Trevon Castillo, Brittany Adams,Maddie VanNote, Ilias Karrm, Grant Hammond, Vanessa Gill, Ellen Rice, and Ben Quam. They will be taking pictures for the following Categories: Most likely to go to an Ivy league college, Most likely to play pro sports, and Least likely to be seen in school.

Congrats to Phoua Xiong and Najma Osman for winning this year's $1500 Optimist Club of St. Paul Scholarship, which they'll receive at a banquet at the Town and Country Club this Thursday
