Over the weekend the central Science bowl team took 1st place. Here to present the trophy to Principal Mackbee are Dannie, Martin, Elwood and Jennifer

Roots & Shoots meets tomorrow after school in Ms. Houdek's room 207. The group will be making an informational video about the upcoming Energy Wars and getting a yearbook picture taken, so all members should try to come.

Central's Hmong Women's Circle, is attending the Hmong National Development Conference in Denver, CO this March. Please stop by Ms. Yang's office in the Counseling office to pick-up an application. Applications are due next Friday Feb. 8th.

New Moves Lunch Bunch will be held today. First semester New Moves girls are invited to Join us in room 399 during lunch period for a yummy free lunch. We look forward to seeing everyone!

On Thursday, an all-day exhibition, in affliation with "Focus the Nation," on possible solutions for global warming and climate change will be held in Central's auditorium. Science teachers are encouraged to bring their classes.

Coming off a 47 point victory agenst Woodbury, the Central's Mock Trial team will participate in round 2 of Mock trial competition starting at 5:30 tonight at Ramsey County Courthouse. There are two Central teams: "yo Mama's Guilty"and"Rock The Mock" They will take on there reginal opponent Eagan. The winner of this competition will advance on to round 3.

Today after school in the Auditorium the cast of the one act play"Passion,Poison,Pertrification" invites all to an open dress rehersal.

Tonight at 7PM at Central the Minutemen boys basketball team tips off against Minneapolis southwest in a non-conference battle.

At 6 PM tonight the undefeated Boys swimming and diving team goes head to head against Bloomington Kennedy in a non-conference meet at Oak Grove Middle School.

The St. Paul Blades Girls Hockey team face off against Cretin Derham Hall Raiders at 7:30 at Highland North. With a win the Blades will improve their record to 11 and 11.

The badminton team will be selling egg rolls for $1 each today and Thursday during C lunch and after school in the lobby. In addition, the team hosts open gym for badminton players and anyone interested from 6 to 7 AM on Thursday.
