On May 3rd, this years prom, A Red Carpet Affair will take place at the Landmark center in Downtown St. Paul. The hollywood movie themed dance costs 35
dollars, tickets are on sale in all three lunches.

Because of construction of the library, today is the final book club meeting of the year. The meeting will start at 2 and go till 3 in the library. The featured book
is "The Time Travelers Wife" As always treats will be provided

Yesterday 114 Central students participated in the 17th annual Ordway Honors Concert. Members from centrals Band, Orchestra, and Choir all participated
the concert. 16 Central students were selceted to sing in the choir, which was conducted by Dr. Matthew Mehaffey.53 Central students were picked to play in
the Orchestra, under the Baton of Claudette Laureano, and and 48 Central students were chosen to play in the band, conducted by Amy K. Roisum Foley.
Over 1500 music lovers attended Last nights concert at the Ordway! Congratulations to all participants.

Prom committee meets today and tomorrow in Ms.Olson's room right after school.

Yearbook pictures will be taken today on front steps after school for badmiton, girls and boys golf, and tennis teams . Athletes must come in uniform and be
there by 2:20.

If you are 17 and weigh at least 110 pounds you are eligable to give blood in Centrals annual Blood drive. Sign up today in the lunch room for the May 1st
Blood Drive.

This Friday in the Black Box the benefit concert Greenstock will be held from 7 to 10pm. Entertainement includes Zombie the Dragon Slayer, Manzana Casa,
Post Mercury, and Tonight Robots Rock. The cost is 3 dollars all proceeds go to the Minnesota Enviromental Initiative.

After a 10 inning battle at Como yesterday, the boys baseball team edged out a 3-2 victory. Dan Merkl scored all three of the teams runs, and starting pitcher
Orin Larson tossed a 6 scoreless innings. Ben Nelson and Anton Schneider made game saving defensive plays in the outfield. The game was a tense back
and forth thriller, and Central's players stayed sharp through extra innings. The team plays at Humbuldt today at 3:45

Centrals Badmitton team hits the bird agianst the Arlington Pheonix for the second time today at 3:15, at Central.There last game was a close match with
Central taking the win 4-3

(PICS) The Central Girls Softball team took a tough loss agianst Johnson yesterday 10-2.The girls are now standing 3-1 in conference.There next game is
tonight against the Como Cougars at 4:00, at Como field.
