----VID---- Tonight the Central Concert Choir presents their annual Winter Concert about "relationships". Performances of greeting and caroling by the women's, men's concert choir and central singers will occupy the first half. The Central Concert Choir and an orchestra will perform Haydn's Missa Sancti Nicolai. The concert starts at 7 pm. And Here are some highlights.

Central freshman Yudelli Perez was struck by a vehicle yesterday after school while crossing Marshall avenue, in front of Central. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she is currently reciving treatment. Centrals thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.

Fresh Force will host "Feed the Need" tomorrow at 5 pm, in the cafeteria. The fundraiser will feature Alfredo, chicken, desert, musical acts, and dance for an admission of 5 dollars. Proceeds will go to help out a local family.

The 2008 CMEP Madden Tournament kicks off tomorrow in the black box. The entry fee is $5 per gamer. See Coach Howell in room 556 for more information or to register.

Book Club has made a selection for it's next book. The book is called "We Need To Talk About Kevin" by Lionel Shriver. Members should come down to the Library Media Center today or tomorrow to pick up the new book.

Tomorrow Central's Touring Theatre will be previewing scenes that may appear in their 2nd semester production. The purpose of the preview show is to work out kinks in scenes, get feedback from the audience and help the students to grow on stage. The show is during sixth hour.

Students interested in taking Auto Tech 2, but don't have room for a 2 hour class, can now take a 1 hour version of the class this Spring. See your councilor for more details.

This morning the Pioneer press released its first state girls basketball rankings. The Central Girls team is ranked 3rd behind Hopkins and Centennial. The Girls next oppenent New Prague who they play Friday is ranked 10th. Minneapolis South who Central has defeated in the State Championship game 2 years in a row is ranked 7th.
