Last Friday, Central held their annual Multicultural Festival n the cafeteria. Many students were delighted by the diversity of food and activites. Over 35 different countries and cultures prepared exotic cuisines and cultural dancing at the festival. Here is a taste of the Multicultural festival.

The final, and maybe most important senior class meeting is this Wednesday during 2nd hour and advisory. Seniors must attend this meeting to fill out a survey in order to receive their cap and gown. Parents will give out information about the senior over night graduation party.

A memorial service for Willie Jacobson will be held tomorrow from 4 to 7 PM. The service will be held at the Weyerhaeuser Chapel at Macalaster College.

M.A.D. will not be meeting today.

The second annual Roots and Shoots Earth Extravaganza takes place all day on Friday. Throughout the day, teachers can bring classes to the auditorium to hear speakers discuss environmental issues. In the evening, come celebrate our planet with a party featuring music, spoken word, arts and crafts, an earth freestyle contest, and a delicious organic dinner. Admission is free, but dinner costs $3.

The Election results are in and the 2009 M-team has been determined, herer to announce the winners is Ms Leclair.

Tomorrow Central's Varsity Band will load a few buses to Downtown St.paul For the annual Police Paraid. The band will play 4 songs while marching a mile and a half.

Juniors who would like to be an usher at the this years graudation need to apply in room 420.

Today in advisory, Seniors will receive your senior memory form. Write your fondest Central memories from the past four years. Turn in forms to Mr. Schlukebier or into the box by room 420 by Wednesday. Remember this will be going into the Yearbook Supplement. To tell you more about Senior news here are Frankie and Sam.

Today The Central Baseball team hopes to avenge their loss to the Highhland Scots. The Minutemen lost their only conference game to the scots. The winner of this game is in position to take the conference title.The game is at Highland at 3:45.

Right now the Boys golf team is participating in the conference tournament at Keller golf course. The tournament started at 7:30 in the morning.

Tomorrow the State Badminton tournament starts. The Central girls are the number four seed and play pattrick Henery.
