(INTRO) Tonight Central's award winning Orchestra will perform their Spring Concert in the auditorium. The Orchestra is under the direction of Matt Oyen and special guest Benjamin Babcock. Here's a sneak peek of tonight's show.

Orchestra's Spring Concert begins at 7:00 P.M. in the auditorium. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Today in all three lunches Jostens is distributing graduation announcement. If you ordered them make sure you pick them up, this is the only day graduation announcements will be available. There will also be some extra for sale.

(PICS)- On Sunday April 27, 6 Central students participated in the state History Day competition at Coffman Union. Kurt Hellerstedt and Elliot Parens presented the topic "The Cuban Missile Crisis". Audrey Hommeyer, Ella Coben, and Zoey Jameson's project was about "Barry Gordy and the rise of Motown Music". Perihan Macdonald researched the topic "Nixon and China". Great job Central Historians.

Best friend pictures for the yearbook will be taken today and tomorrow during all three lunches. Each person can only be in one picture so choose wisely.

The annual Multicultural Festival will be this Friday at 1pm. The event will showcase food, music, dance, and ethnic dress of different cultures from all over the world. About 40 countries will have booths to visit.

Roots and Shoots meets today after school in Ms. Houdek's room 207.

Badminton starts their city tournament today at Arlington. Sophomore doubles team Doua Thao and Da Chang enter the tournament as the number 1 seed. Senior Captain Yer Chang is the 4th seed.

Yesterday Centrals track team had a meet at Harding Highschool against Harding and Highland. The Central girls dusted Harding with a score of 90 to 45, and beat Highland 71 to 66. The boys tied Highland with a score of 68, and sped past Harding 68.5 to 60.5.

The Central Baseball team takes on the Harding Knights today at Dunning Stadium at 3:45. The boys are currently first in the conference with a 6 and 1 record.

Also, the badminton team is hosting an open gym fund raiser this Friday after school. Everyone is welcome. Admission is $2 dollars. However you can win your admission fee back. If you can beat a varsity member in a game you get a $3 dollar prize. Come if your tough enough.

Yesterday the Boys golf team came in second out of seven teams in the Johnson tournament. The boys next match is The Fred Kaiser Tournament on thursday.

Due to our rainy spring weather both Girls softball and Boys tennis were cancelled yesterday.
