Yesterday, some members of the Journalism classes went to the Veterens building near the state Capital for a unique experience. Using a satalite feed they were able to speak with US soldiers stationed in irag. Here is Wyatt with more on the story.

Prom, a red carpet event will be next weekend at the landmark center. For all you celebrities planning to attend, prom tickets are being sold in all three lunches for 35$.

Drama board is looking for applicants for next year. Students in grades 9th throught 11th are eligble to apply. Applications are outside the main office, and are due may 5th. If you have qusetions ask Ms. Jorhdal or Ms. Hutchison

Central High School drama board presentss Harold Pinter's A Night Out. Show begins next Friday May 2 at 7pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are on sale now.Tickets will be on sale at the door.

(INTRO) Over two hundred and fifty "Central's Student Spotlight" applications have been distributed this year so far. This week's "Central's Sudent Spotlight" was nominated by his peers for his notible achievements and oustanding talent. With more on the story is reporter Dorothy Her. (EXIT) Thanks Dorothy. There are many amazing people at Central. You may be one yourself. With more than just a month left of school, submit an application of a student that you feel deserves to be acknowledged for their outstanding achievements. Applications are available ouside of room 420.

(dv-vid) The Girls Badminton team faced off once again with the Arlington Phoenix Wednesday in Central's gym. Posting victories in singles were senior Captain Yer Chang and Senior Kari Finseth. All 3 doubles teams won bringing the team total to 5 victories and 2 losses. The girls are now 4 and 3 in the conference. They travel to Como Park today for a 3:15 match. C-squad team members should look at the list posted out side the locker room to see if they are going.

Today,Boys Baseball plays against Highland Park at 3:45, at Dunning Field.

The Central girls Softball team takes on the Harding Knights at 4:00, at Harding.

Boys Tennis has a match against Harding ,at Harding, at 3:15.
