Last Saturday over 500 Central students attended the Senior Red Carpet Prom at the Landmark Center downown St.Paul. (DV VID) There was plenty of food and refreshments provided by Central underclassman, professional picture taking, great music from DJ Roger, horse drawn cariages, and lots of dancing and fun. By the end of the night Jake Abrahams and Teagan Carr were crowned King and Queen of the class of 2008. Here are some highlights of the unforgetable night.

New Moves lunch bunch meets today in room 399 during all three lunches.

Joston's will be here tomorrow to distribute pre ordered graduation announcements.

Roots and Shoots meets tomrrow after school.

Today is the Final day of Link Crew interviews. The Interviews take place at 2:15 in room 420.

Tomorrow night Central's Orchestra will perform their Spring Concert in the auditorium. Thursday, the following night,the Concert band will take the stage for thier spring performance. Both Concertss, under the direction of Matt Oyen, will begin at 7 oclock.

The following college representatives will be in the counselor area this week: Gustavus Adolphus today at 10:30, and the Art Institue of Minnesota on Friday, May 9th.

The annual Multicultural Festival is coming up, here to tell us more are Jill, Noelle and Alex.

Mr.Karlen's period 5 class should eat A lunch and then report to the CRC room 367 to take the MCA Biology test.

Central Touring Theater will have it's final show of the year, "We Are Called to Speak", Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 at Concordia University's E. M. Pearson Theater.

M-team elections continue today and tomorrow in all three lunches. Students may vote for there 3 favorite candidates.

Yesterday at Dunning Stadium the Central Baseball team put on an offensive clinic for the home crowd, scoring 9 runs. Along with great offense, the dominating pitching of Senior, Orin Larson, and great defensive plays held the Cougars to 1 run. Larson has an Earned Run Average of less than one on the season. The boys next game is Wednesday against the Harding Knights at 3:45 at home.

Also yesterday the Central Softball team lost a tough game to the Johnson Governors 11-2. The girls play today against the Highland Scots at 4:00 at the Dunning Softball fields.

Yesterday the Central Badminton team lost to the Johnson Governors 6-1. The top ranked doubles team, Doua Thao and Dah Chang were the only victory for the Minutemaids. The girls play in the Arlington tournament that starts tomorrow.
