Governor Tim Pawlenty has proclaimed this week School Counceling week. Please thank your councelors for their terrific work.

The Mock Trial Team yearbook picture will be taken tomorrow after school in Room 406. Everyone on the team must attend for the picture. Afterwards, Team "Yo Mama's Guilty" will practice from 2:30 to 4.

MSA, the Muslim Student Association meets tomorrow right after school in room 567 to have the yearbook picture taken.

Auditions for the Spring play will be next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday after school. The play is "A Night Out" by Harold Pinter. You can sign up outside the office.

Seniors and parents: College Goal Sunday is Febuary 10, at 1 PM in the Central Auditorium. Here, students can get help applying for student loans. Attending students could win $500 in a drawing for a scholarship! For more information, see your counselor.

Yesterdays Famous African American Quote was by Mohammed Ali. Three winners were selected and the winners are Va Thao, Nyadoar Dojior, and Israel Thomas in room 408. Winners can come to room 101 during advisory to collect you prize. Anime Club hosts a video game tournament in the black box this Friday at 3:00. Games include: Halo 3, Dance Dance Revolution, Need for Speed, Soul Calibur 3, and Super Smash Brothers Melee. Prizes will be given out, $2 entry fee.

The Central Girl's Varsity Gymnastics Team competes at Johnson tonight at 5:00 for the City Conference meet.

Tonight at 6, the boys wrestling team takes on the Edison Tommies at Como Park. THe boys are currently 3 and 3 and are in 4th place in the conference. This is their last regular season meet.

The Badminton preseason meeting is next Tuesday after school.
