Today is Wednesday May 21st, and
Welcome to the Central Morning News.

(PICS) Yesterday, during 6th hour Central Touring Theatre presented an encore performance of "We are Called to Speak". This final CTT performance was packed from the bottom to the top and presented issues such as child labor, racism, healthcare, relationships, gay mariage, self image and global warming. The performance was capped off with a rendition of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme

On Thursday night in the auditorium, Seniors will be in the spotlight. Senior Honors Night starts at 7, and recognizes academic as well as leadership acheivements. Scholorship winners will be announced, and teachers will recieve recognition for their impact on the class of 2008.

After Graduation seniors will gather at Central for the last time as a class to party, eat food, and play games. Seniors who have not registered for the Senior overnight party can still register for $40 or $20 if you have free or reduced lunch. Today parents will be in all 3 lunches to register seniors. This is the last week for the $40 registration fee, next week will go up to $45.

(PIC)Last night at 7pm the Beginning acting class presented a very successful performance in the Black Box. There were over 120 family and friends in attendence. The cast members worked very hard on each scene and pulled through to put on wonderful skits and plays.
------
Central Seniors who are apart of the Multicultural Excellence Program, MEP, should see Mr. Whipple in the CRC anytime tomorrow to pick up their MEP completion award.
------
Junior ushers interview contiunes today right after school in room 420.

Tomomrrow at 7:30 in the CRC a repressentive from the U of Wisconsin River Falls will be here to help students fill out their application, and answer any questions.

The Softball team suffered a tough loss yesterday against Woodbury being down 29-0 and no hits after five innings.The loss eliminated the team from the Section 4AAA tournament.Better luck next time girls.

Girl's Golf will participate in the 3AAA tournament tomorrow against Highland Park at Phalen.
------
Baseball Playoffs start tomorrow at North St.Paul at 4:15p.m
------
Tennis and Badmiton players must turn in uniforms this week to Mr. Galloway.
