There were no winners to yesterdays quote, hopefully todays quote has better luck.(IS) Todays quote is "When I found I had crossed that line, I looked at my hands to see if I was the same person.There was such a glory over everything."

CMEP is still accepting poems for the annual Black History Month Contest. Friday is the last day to turn in poems, so please bring your poems to Coach Howell in room 556.

Last night, Central's Mock Trial team "Yo Mama's Guilty" defeated Farmington 222-196. With the win, the team moves onto Round 4 of the competition on Thursday, February 21.

The Prom committee meets in room 571 after school today.

Central staff who are members of the Ceredian partnership will have their yearbook picture taken today after school in room 420

Central Touring Theatre will have their yearbook pictures taken today in the black box during 5th hour.

Ninth grade shadow guides meets during advisory in room 578.

Students that are interested in Construction, need a summer job and credits should contact Mr. Nelson in the Industrial Technology room aboout the UnderConstruction Summer program. There are ten positions available and they will go quick. Appllications are due by February 28th.

The callback list for the spring play has been posted outside the office. Callback auditions are after school in the auditorium tomorrow. Students interested being on tech crew for the play, get a form outside the office, fill it out and turn it in to Sarah Kopp-Reddy. The tech crew meeting is tentatively scheduled for next Wednesday or Thursday.

Seniors can pick up baby pictures submitted to the yearbook from the yearbook staff in room 420 during fourth hour or lunch A.

There will be no chemistry club tomorrow.

In a clash of the titans, Central's 1st place Boys' Basketball Team will face the 2nd place Johnson Governors at Johnson, tonight at 7PM. At their last confrontation, Central beat Johnson by only 5 points! A win tonight virtually guarantees a conference championship. The Central Boys have not earned sole possession of the championship in 10 years.

Central's Girls' Basketball Team will tip off against the Johnson Governors at home tonight at 7. Their next game is Tuesday at 7 against Highland Scotts at Highland.
