Yesturdays famous African American quote was by Martin Luther King Jr. The winner is Hashim Kebeto in Ms.Peifers room.You can come collect your prize in room 101 during advisory.(IS) Todays Famous African American quote is " Service to others is rent you pay for your room here on earth." If you know what famous African American said that quote please put your answer in the box in the office.

Todays Black History Month Advisory trivia question is: "Who designed the Civil Right Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama?" Please provide your answer to Coach Howell in room 556. The Advisory with the most correct answers will win a free breakfast compliments of CMEP.

All model UN club members meet today in Mr. Shipman's room, 407, during advisory for a yearbook picture. Be there and be pretty. Model UN students should also turn in forms and money to Mr. Shipman, Rachel or Maria as soon as possible.

The Debate Team will have its yearbook picture taken in Mr. Cherin's room during advisory today.

Tonight, Central's Mock Trial team "Yo Mama's Guilty" has a trial against Farmington High School in Round 3 of the Mock Trial competition. The trial, begins at 5:30pm at the Ramsey County Courthouse. If Central wins, they will compete on Thursday, February 21

Mardi Gras Sno Daze voting for the top three candidates for royalty is today during advisory. Each student may vote for three boys and girls from his or her own grade level. Teachers make sure to check your mailbox if you have not recieved your ballots. Bring the ballots to room 321 by Friday, February 15. (IS) Here are the top 10 candidates for royalty from each grade level.(PAUSE)

Youth Against War and Racisism will have their yearbook picture taken at 2:15 today in Mr. Cherin's room number 461

Ceridian Partnership Program will have their yearbook picture taken on Thursday. The picture is after school in room 420.

Start the new semester right by getting tutoring help. NHS will be having tutoring every Wednesday in the library from 2-4pm. The tutors can help with any subject that students may need help in. Bus tokens will be provided for students who need it. Please see Mrs. Erickson with any questions.

The Prom committee meets tomorrow in room 571 after school.

All students interested in being on the Golf team meet today at 2:15. Boys meet in room 275 and girls in room 262.

(PIC) Last night the First Place Minutemen Basketball team crushed the Harding Knights 79 to 51. Dylan Hale led the Minutemen with 17 points followed by laderion Horton with 13 points. The Boys next game is against the second place Johnson Governors on Valentines Day at 7:00 at Johnson. If the minutemen deliver the heart breaker to the Governors they will compete in the Twin Cities Game.

The Girls basketball team overpowered the Harding Knights 91 to 20. Senior Meghan Howard led the girls with 20 points. The girls next game is on Valentines Day at 7:00 at Central. The girls hope to get the candy sweet win against the Governors.
