Today is Halloween. Halloween originated as a Celtic celebration of the end of the harvest season known as "hollows eve". Halloween is now international holiday. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating costume party's visiting haunted houses and watching horror movies

Speaking of something scary, Seniors need to start appling to college. To help, The University of Minnesota Twin Cities will be here Tuesday November 4 at 11:00 in the CRC to hold a application workshop to accept completed applications. Students interested need to sign up in advance. For more information see Ms. Krejce in room 367.

Chinese Club held a wonton sale this morning, and there are leftovers! Come by room 503 and buy the remaining wontons for only 50 cents. Chinese club is selling them tomorrow morning in the lobby as well.

A few openings are left in the November.4th drives ed class. Applications can be picked up in the community Ed office, room 241. All applications are due no later than Monday Nov.3rd.

Anime Club is hosting a Halloween Party today after school in room 326. Enjoy an afternoon of fun filled with games, munchies, a costume contest and more! Everyone is invited to attend.

This Saturday at 130 the Girls Swimming and Diving team will take on the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers in the 30th Annual Twin Cities Meet at Humboldt. The Girls are the final fall sport still playing and were undefeated in conference with a 6-0 record. Central has never won the twin cities match in its 30 year history. So please students come out and show your support for Central Swimming!
